There are clear signs that the days are getting longer and the temperatures outside is definitely improving. So what have you done to get ready for the up coming golf season?</p>
<p>Have you joined a gym to work out or have you been doing your daily exercises and stretches on your own to get in shape when winter does finally break? I know doing exercises isn&#8217;t the easiest thing to do, because it does take time or you have to spend money in order to receive the appropriate training such as coaching. I&#8217;m guilty of it and there are areas that I need to improve up on. However, to prevent injuries and improve upon performance this still needs to be done before playing in your first few early rounds of the new golf season.</p>
<p>The search for the proper way to swing a golf club is something of a science. It&#8217;s all about physics in regards to coiling rather than swaying, striking the golf ball with the club face at the correct angle, getting that wrist roll just right to finish with the follow through. The proper way to swing a golf club is also about biology and kinesiology.</p>
<p>A lot of people have trouble turning their torso on the back swing, most of the time the problem is that they can&#8217;t rotate enough through the hips because the muscles are way too tight. Golfers need to know how to stretch so that they can rotate through the hips and put more power into their golf swing.</p>
<p>Shoulder and neck problems can often prevent a golfer from doing one of the most fundamental things during the golf swing. If you have trouble turning your head because of stiffness in the neck area, it is going to be almost impossible for you to keep your head down and your eyes on the golf ball when you go into your back swing.</p>
<p>Part of the problem is that people sit all day at a desk, then they want to go out and golf without doing any stretching, that is just opening yourself up to all kinds of injuries. Bad backs are the most common complaint, while sore shoulders and necks take a close second. Golf can be as good as it ever been after knee surgery, you just have to know how to work with what you&#8217;ve got.</p>
<p>Strengthening your ab muscles will help you to prevent back injury. Everyone thinks that sit ups are the best way to make your abs stronger. That&#8217;s great, but that&#8217;s not a motion you can use when you make the rotation motion of a golf swing. Ab conditioning exercises that fully concentrates on rotating the trunk as well as strengthening the abs is the key to good exercising. As you address this position it becomes a technique that will make your swing stronger, because your improving upon flexibility and strength.</p>
<p>A small series of gentle stretching exercises, to be done before approaching the first tee and a couple of times between trips to the golf course should help. Learning to use the body to its full potential during the golf swing will help even more. It doesn&#8217;t matter what&#8217;s in the golf bag if the golf swing is faulty.</p>
<p>Skilled golfers who know their own game usually find that making small physical adjustments increases their drive length dramatically. Golfers should concentrate on conditioning aimed strictly at golf. The idea is to maximize a golfers flexibility and strength, and this should result in an improved golf swing which creates longer, straighter drives that produces consistent solid power.</p>
<p>What does the future hold for golf as advances in technology continues to make golf courses shorter? Newest designed golf courses are already obsolete by the time they have opened because of the changes to the golf ball and equipment. Every golf course is now being challenged, because the golf ball and the driver is designed for the ultimate technology.</p>
<p>So what does that mean for the average golfer? The game has become purely power. You don&#8217;t have to hit it straight any more. You just hit it as far as you can because it doesn&#8217;t make any difference no more, because the old obstacles on the golf course can now be carried over. The U.S.G.A. have begun reacting a little bit, and if they aren&#8217;t thinking about it, then why in the world are they bothering with it?</p>
<p>This year on the tour they have gone from the V- shaped grooves to the U-shape grooves. Which makes it harder to put back spin on the ball from up close to the green or out of the rough. For the spectators it will be interesting to watch, because for most amateurs we don&#8217;t know how or understand the correct golf swing at impact to create the back spin.</p>
<p>They keep saying they want to make sure that the average golfer and the pro have the same golf ball and the same golf equipment. Most pros will have a swing speed of 125 mph, and that is where the extra carry comes from. The average golfer can&#8217;t do that. He never will have the same club head speed to make that happen.</p>
<p>I believe they are right in manufacturing the same golf balls. We don&#8217;t want to see separate golf balls for the pros and the average golfers but, using that as a reason is not living in reality. If you played a golf ball from 10 years ago, there was 20-25 yards difference between the pro and the average golfer. Today there&#8217;s 100 yards difference. Because of the manufacturers ego, they have figured out how to make a golf ball that goes so far that in turn makes the golf courses become more obsolete.</p>

		<title>3 Dodgeball Moves You MUST Learn</title>

<p>Don&#8217;t listen to Patches, there are three main areas of dodgeball you need to master: the throw, the catch, the dodge, and you don&#8217;t even need to master all of them. Meatloaf had it right; 2 out of 3 ain&#8217;t bad.</p>
<p>1) Throwing:</p>
<p>The throw is important for a few reasons, one of which being so you don&#8217;t ache in the morning or it stop you sipping your favourite tipple afterwards! Everybody finds their own way to throw to get the power and the accuracy, but a good place to start is to make sure when you throw, your elbow is above your shoulder. This will put less pressure on the rest of the arm joints, otherwise you will &#8220;whip&#8221; your arm when you throw, causing stress on your shoulder, elbow and wrist. You could also throw side-arm, keeping your shoulder and elbow horizontal. The best exponents of the side-arm will not only generate power, but swing too a la Waqar Younis in his pomp. Power is not always important; accuracy and picking your spots are very handy attributes to be in possession of. Throwers coming from the sides to pick off the aggressive throwers near the centre line can be extremely effective, and provide excellent protection and distraction from, and to, your opponents.</p>
<p>2) Catching:</p>
<p>The catch is the game changer. Catches win matches. The two person switcheroo. When you are down 4 on 1, or worse, a catch is the only thing that is going to keep your team in the game. You have to go all out to go for the catch, not worry about the other balls coming at you and just get that catch. When it is coming at you, accept it in to your body, catch it in your arms trapping it against your chest. Try not to catch it in your fingertips as a slight movement or misjudgement will lead to a drop and some misaligned fingers. Remember, don&#8217;t over-celebrate that catch and be alive when you come back on &#8211; you could be the target of an eagle-eyed thrower. Catchers are the life blood of a team. A catcher that plucks the ball out of the air, snaffles the hardest chances and produces when is needed are the key to a winning team. They may be the unsung, unnoticed player but their contribution can not be understated, for without the catcher, there is no redemption.</p>
<p>3) Dodging:</p>
<p>Yes… &#8216;dodge&#8217; is the name of the game!!! Be sharp, be nimble, be fleet of foot. Try and be elusive, keep on the move, but don&#8217;t be predictable in your movements. Be like the boxer ducking and weaving from the on-coming jab, never giving the opponent an easy chance to hit the mark. If you are a motionless target, you are an easy target. The key to dodging is being able to dodge whilst doing one of the other two main areas. If you are getting hit whenever you go for a throw you are easy pickings. Being focused on dodging what you need to and catching what is catchable have to go hand in hand. Dodging to the very end does help. It gives you the chance to find that weak throw and get the catch, and also tires the throwers out. Unless their technique is spot on, they will be breathing heavy come the important legs, and their throws will be less accurate and less effective.</p>
<p>Dodgeball is a game that everyone can play and everyone can contribute to. Know your strengths, know your limitations. Three dimensions may be the new big thing, but like in movies, good 3D&#8217;s do not come round that often, if at all. Be a master of one, be an asset to the team. Be a master of two, be on a championship winning team.</p>

		<title>Do You Have a Bright White Smile?</title>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-2533" title="do-you-have-a-bright-white-smile" src="http://www.fitness2health.com/wp-content/uploads/do-you-have-a-bright-white-smile.jpg" alt="" width="250" height="250" />To see someone&#8217;s perfectly aligned teeth shining bright and white as they smile is a great sight.  I have become very aware of this during recent months.  I guess I always did notice when someone had really great teeth, but I don&#8217;t think that I thought about teeth very much unless I came across a particularly brilliant smile.</p>
<p>But having started spending some of my time in California, I couldn&#8217;t help but become aware of how almost everyone living in this sunny State possesses an especially brilliant smile.  Almost everyone has straight teeth.  Almost everyone has white teeth.  I have to admit that this is simply not the case on the Isle of Man or the North of England in general.</p>
<p>California is an unusual State which attracts a lot of &#8220;beautiful people&#8221;.  I read a brief interview with Hugh Hefner (of Playboy fame) the other day, and he commented on this phenomenon, which he clearly enjoys benefitting from!  And so it comes as no surprise that people who live there are more likely to take the time and trouble to ensure that they have beautiful teeth.</p>
<p>I am presently having a little cosmetic work performed upon my teeth, involving the invisalign system.  I have to say it&#8217;s easy and painless and the results are fabulous.  I have become aware of how nice my teeth feel and also how much confidence I feel when I smile.  It is particularly noticeable to me when contrasted with my mother&#8217;s current experiences with her teeth, which as with many people of her age, are causing a certain degree of discomfort and concern.</p>
<p>I can tell that my mother is trying not to smile.  She spends a lot of time attempting to hide her teeth.  Her confidence has begun a downward decent.  Unfortunately the majority of us end up having a few problems with our teeth as we get older and we accept that as being the norm.  What is not normal however is for a youngish person to have &#8220;bad teeth&#8221; caused by not visiting their dentist because of an unnecessary, but very real, fear.</p>
<p>The fact is that a lot of people are scared to death of their dentist.  The knock on effect is the experiencing of pain as a result of bad teeth and also a loss of confidence because you are aware that your teeth don&#8217;t look very nice.  In reality, I think everyone knows that they shouldn&#8217;t be afraid, but cannot get this logic to over-ride their automatic, instinctive and intensely felt fear.</p>
<p>These types of fears, or phobias, are in fact easy to overcome with the help of hypnosis.  Hypnosis allows you to &#8220;get into&#8221; your instinctive thought processes &#8211; the place where your fear derives from.  And so simply by listening to a hypnosis mp3 you can retrain your brain to overcome old and unnecessary fears and get yourself sitting in the dentist&#8217;s chair feeling calm and relaxed.  In this day and age, everyone can have straight teeth and a bright white smile.  Why let your fears stop you from looking great and feeling confident?</p>

Your knife needs to perform to cut branches, skinning or cleaning your catch. At the end of the day or hunt your knife has performed as it should. How long your knife lasts is determined on how you care for it. To help you keep your knife in perfect condition here are a few tips to follow.</p>
<p>1. Specialty knives are just that, for a special purpose. For example: A skinning knife is used for that purpose only. You don&#8217;t want to use this knife to cut branches or use as a pry bar. You will only dull or ruin your knife altogether.</p>
<p>2.Cleaning your knife after each use is a must. The blade is important to clean, but don&#8217;t forget the handle and even the shaft. Use running water to clean your knife, remember never to soak your knife. Dry your knife thoroughly, because moisture on your knife can lead to rust, and a inefficient knife. Keeping your knife dry can be tough, especially if you are in a wet environment. Get in the habit of drying your knife off after use, especially if its your favorite knife. Use a leaf in the field to dry off your knife. If your knife is made of carbon steel, you can also use baking soda and water. Use just plain water and dish soap on stainless steel knives. Try to avoid touching your stainless steel knife. Acid left on the blade from your fingerprint can actually stain your knife, and overtime cause corrosion. Never put your knife in a automatic dishwasher, as the detergent contains abrasives and salt that can cause corrosion.</p>
<p>3. Oil your knife on a regular basis, this will prevent friction. Oil can provide a protective coating on the blade that keeps rust from forming. If you have a folding knife, oil is more important for the moving parts and joints. Use the same oil you use for your firearms or just household oil. Some oils can leave a aftertaste in your meat, in that case use a food grade mineral base oil. Be leary of oiling your handle as this will cause it to be slippery. Wood handles can be treated with linseed oil. Remember a little oil goes a long way. If your handle if made of rubber or artifical materials, nothing is required. But if you feel the need, treat it with armor all. Leather handles can be treated with mink oil. This also works good on sheaths. Bone or stag handles that have crevies should be cleaned with soap and water. Crevices and cracks in your knife can cause dirt buildup, which can draw moisture and can damage your knife.</p>
<p>4. Have your knife serviced when you notice you have a dull blade or your knife is loosing its shine. If you don&#8217;t know how to sharpen your knife, it might be a good idea to take it to a professional and have them do it for you. There are professionals out there, you just have to look for them. There are even a few where you send in you knife through the mail, when they are done they send it back to you. Having a dull knife on your trip will only do more harm than good. If you have experience or think you can sharpen your knife yourself, go for it. Don&#8217;t be afraid to ask a professional for help.</p>
<p>5. Your knife should be store in a humidity free environment to keep it dry. Your leather sheath is a great place to store you knife in the field, but don&#8217;t keep it there for a long time. The chemicals they use in the leather sheath can cause damage to the blade of your knife. You need something non acidic to store you knife in. To store you knife for a long time, use paper and wrap your knife with it, then place it in a plastic bag with a desiccant to keep it dry.</p>
<p>A quality knife is designed to last a lifetime. With a little effort and proper maintenance you can enjoy your knife in the great outdoors for a long time.</p>

<p>When you are trying to figure out how to tighten your vagina, you have to learn how to exercise the pelvic muscles. Pelvic floor exercises are called Kegel exercises.</p>
<p>Before you try to work out the muscles in your vagina, you must identify those muscles. One of the easiest ways to identify the muscles is by inserting a finger into the vaginal barrel and attempting to squeeze the vagina. Once you have squeezed your finger, you have indentified the pubococcgeus muscles. These muscles are also commonly known as PC muscles.</p>
<p>Having a tighter vagina can allow you to have many different benefits. Some people are not aware of the benefits that are available through the use of kegel exercises, or other vaginal tightening methods.</p>
<p>Vaginal tightening is one of the benefits you will receive from using kegel exercises. You may also notice such benefits as treatment for utermine prolapse, treatment for vaginismus, prevention of urinary incontinence, preparation for childbirth and help during the recovery period after having a child. Some people experience such things as an increased amount of sexual desire, intensified orgasms, and some people even notice they can now have multiple orgasms.</p>
<p>The largest group of muscles in the body is the PC muscles. Just like any other muscle group, the pelvic floor muscles can be weakened whenever they are not used, or whenever they are strained.</p>
<p>If you have a weak vagina, vagina that is overly tense, or if you feel as if you have no control over vaginal muscles, you may experience a decreased response sexually. The decreased response may include inability to experience orgasms.</p>
<p>Many women get excited once they hear they can get all of these benefits by doing vaginal exercises. Women that get overexcited about exercising their vagina make overwork their vaginal muscles which could cause weariness in the PC muscles. The overworking of the PC muscles could cause minor injuries.</p>
<p>As you are trying to strengthen your vagina with exercises, it is best to work your way up in the amount of exercises you do. You should also make certain to work your way up in the level of intensity you use while doing these exercises.</p>
<p>Experiencing the benefits of a tight vagina does not have to be difficult, but you may find it takes a considerable amount of time to start seeing results using this method. This is one of the reasons women look into other options, such as vaginal tightening cream or vaginal tightening spray.</p>
<p>Whenever you use vaginal exercises, you can begin to see results within a few weeks. You must remember to remain consistent with your workouts. Many people find it is helpful to write a schedule that will enable them to keep on track with their workouts.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-2959" title="lose-weight-by-dreaming" src="http://www.fitness2health.com/wp-content/uploads/lose-weight-by-dreaming.jpg" alt="" width="250" height="250" />Weight loss for most people is rather elusive.  Perhaps this is because we go about losing weight in the wrong way.  We search for easy solutions to our weighty issues, always hoping to find a pill which you can take which will make excess calories miraculously dissolve and cause excess pounds to disappear forever.</p>
<p>And yet even though we seek these easy weight loss tips, diet pills and obesity solutions we do not really believe that they will work.  Most overweight people have simply tried too many of these quick weight loss fixes and found that they just didn&#8217;t provide them with long term effective solutions.</p>
<p>Sometimes this is not because the weight loss program, supplement, diet or technique in itself did not work; rather they perhaps found that they just could not keep doing what they needed to do so as to lose weight in that way and subsequently keep it off.  Weight loss programs can sometimes be very hard to follow.</p>
<p>And so when you hear of a weight loss program which proclaims &#8220;lose weight while you sleep&#8221; your immediate reaction tends to be on the skeptical side.  It&#8217;s just too good to be true.  If it was that easy then everyone would lose weight every night, right? (Apart from insomniacs, of course.)</p>
<p>I have noticed several newspaper and magazine articles recently which claim that weight loss really can be that easy; and I also know that they are correct in their claims.  There is a very good reason why you can effectively lose weight whilst you sleep.  There are in fact a few different slants which can be placed on the same basic &#8220;lose weight whilst you sleep&#8221; weight loss plan.</p>
<p>The fact is that when you sleep you also dream.  Everyone dreams, even if you think that you do not.  Dreaming is a process which is basic and vital to our emotional health and well being.  As we dream our subconscious mind is anything but asleep; it is working hard to resolve conflicts and to integrate new information with old.  The wheels of our automatic behavior patterns are being oiled and powered as we dream and sleep the night away.</p>
<p>You know what it&#8217;s like when you are concerned about something and you say to yourself &#8220;sleep on it&#8221; and in the morning it just doesn&#8217;t seem that bad any more.  Overnight you just seem to automatically find solutions to problems, without trying, simply be sleeping.  This is what dreaming does for us.</p>
<p>Hypnosis replicates this dream state.  Hypnosis allows us to intentionally step into this dream state and access its wonderful therapeutic powers.  In this sense hypnosis is the most powerful facilitator of change that you could wish for, and it is natural, totally natural.  If you want to lose weight, why not sleep on it and allow your subconscious mind to find its own solutions?  You will find that you really can dream your way to easy and effective weight loss.</p>

<p>Oh yes, I know I could have said &#8220;no thank you&#8221;, but the wine was nice, the company was great, everyone was having fun.  I didn&#8217;t think at the time that I could have had more than a couple of glasses of wine, but my body is telling a different tale.  It&#8217;s a very long time since I last felt like this, and I want to make myself very, VERY aware of how much I hate this feeling.  Because I know that if I really focus on this feeling and ensure that my mind indelibly records how bad I feel, this feeling, this memory will help me to ensure that it doesn&#8217;t happen again.  I plan to use this feeling to my advantage in the future.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s all too easy to not pay attention, and to just go along with the crowd in these sorts of social situations.  You just &#8220;go with the flow&#8221;.  It is easy to create innumerable habits relating to the consumption of alcohol; perhaps you have a glass of wine when you get home from work, to just help you relax and wind down, or you have a drink after the kids go to bed, or you go to a bar on the way home from work, etc, etc.</p>
<p>Once something has become habitual, it also becomes difficult to change.  That drink becomes associated with a feeling in your mind.  You can come to think that it will relax you, de-stress you, release your anxieties, help you to sleep, and so forth.  In your mind you record these benefits because this is what you are focusing upon.  These associations soon create a habitual expectation of this benefit, a link in your mind which says &#8220;alcohol=relaxation and fun&#8221;.   In effect you can easily create an alcohol dependency in this way, as an additional thought could easily be &#8220;no alcohol = tense, anxious, and ratty&#8221;.</p>
<p>And so what I am doing today is &#8220;unpicking&#8221; the &#8220;alcohol = fun&#8221; link and replacing it with something new.  My new association with alcohol runs along the lines of &#8220;wine=feeling really terrible for hours and hours and ruining an entire day of my life.&#8221;  And I am going to embed this new pattern of thought into my subconscious mind with the help of hypnosis.</p>

That is part of his preparation and his winning mind-set.  It&#8217;s his good luck charm.  In every sport you will come across a famous person who has a similar habit of wearing a particular &#8220;something&#8221; whenever they are facing a situation which matters to them.  That something may be a pair of socks, a cap, necklace or pair of panties; it can in fact be anything at all.</p>
<p>It is not the actual item which matters; it is what it means to you.  It is your emotional attachment to that item which creates the lucky charm as opposed to the physical properties of the item itself.  Lucky charms are not embedded in logical thought; rather they hold emotional connotations.</p>
<p>Inevitably the greater the intensity of your emotional attachment the more likely it is that your lucky charm will work for you.  This statement may not make any logical sense to you.  But it does make emotional sense.</p>
<p>Why so?  It has been proven over time that your own imagination shapes your reality.  Your own beliefs and expectations will pave the way for the outcome which you expect.  The stronger your belief the more likely it is that your expectations will come to fruition.  Logically speaking, Tigers red shirt can not in itself help him to win.  But emotionally, that shirt can make him feel like an invincible champion.  And if you feel like a champion you will act like one.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s not only sports people who have lucky charms.  In every walk of life you will come across individuals who have all sorts of lucky charms which they would not like to live without.  Lucky charms are in fact a fantastic invention; they can make you feel however you want to feel, just by them being there for you. The emotional connections which you create between you and your lucky charm may seem invisible and even ridiculous to others, but they are very real to you.</p>
<p>There is no down-side to having a lucky charm; but there is a major benefit to be gained.  Whatever your charm is, it is associated in your mind with an instinctive emotional reaction.  This means that you automatically feel something (without having to try to do so) whenever you wear that shirt, or particular tie, or whatever it is.</p>
<p>In my case, when I play golf, I have a very special club head cover.  Brandy is a little brown dog and he sits on my three wood.  He originally graced my driver, before they became so big!  I&#8217;d take him off the driver and sit him down on the tee box with his nose facing down the middle of the fairway.  The emotional associations which are immediately triggered in me are those essentials in my pre-shot routine &#8211; clear focus, calmness, relaxed breathing and a vivid picture of where I want the ball to go.</p>
<p>Now, if you are a golfer you will certainly appreciate the benefit of a lucky charm which instinctively and instantaneously places you in the right mental state to make an optimal tee shot.  And what&#8217;s the downside?  Some people may wonder what on earth I am doing with my club head cover, or think that I&#8217;m a bit weird!  But most people simply comment that they&#8217;d like to have a Brandy too!</p>
